Georgetown Children’s Museum is a non-profit organization, dedicated to creating an interactive community that inspires curiosity, sparks imagination, and nurtures discovery. The Museum is also committed to fostering active parent involvement in children’s learning, to serving as a resource for school districts and homeschoolers in the area, and to ensuring that its programs and services are accessible to all children.
It is a primary goal of Georgetown Children’s Museum to expose the families of Williamson County and surrounding areas to a hands-on exploration of science, culture, language, geography, music, history, and art. We will operate a facility that boasts a wide variety of engaging, exciting, and educational exhibits. We will support these exhibits with a diverse staff of people who possess a passion for learning.
Even though we don’t yet a have a permanent location (we are working on it!) we just couldn’t wait to get started! So we have already started our L.E.A.P. classes at a temporary location in downtown Georgetown (click here)
As a brand new non-profit organization, we are currently in fundraising mode, but WE WILL BE ADDING A LOT MORE classes and activities in the next few weeks for children of all ages, so be sure to subscribe to our newsletter by clicking here.
